Position title:       Intake Counsellor (maternity-leave contract)
Reporting to:       Director of Development & Programs
Position Summary:

As a member of the NEW Employment team, the Intake Counsellor works in collaboration with team members and participates in case conferencing. Her role consists of offering R&I to unassisted clients (walk-ins and over the phone); providing quality referrals and efficiently meeting intake targets. This position also ensures basic administration processes are established and maintained. This staff works within Employment Ontario and agency guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and is accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.
