Yoga for PTSD and/or Trauma survivors

Do you experience flashbacks, problems sleepings, anxiety and/or
severe distress?

If you are over the age of 18 please join us for an 8 week research
study on Yoga for

post-traumatic stress.

The yoga in this study is easy to learn and does not require
flexibility or physical fitness.

Participation will require a screening and assessment, 8 week classes

and completion of questionnaires and interviews.

Next 8 week sessions begins: March 1 and March 21, 2012.

If your child is under 10 years of age, you may be eligible to participate in a free parent-child research program taking place at Aisling Discoveries Child and Family Centre that aims to help parents and their children who are experiencing challenges after being reunited as a family.

JVS is to re-launch their (ISE) Individual Skills Enhancement Program. 
Youth ages 15-30 can apply to receive up to $5000 towards skills development training from a Ministry approved school.

Step 1 – See attached flyer for details

Step 2 – Register to attend a Information Session (youth must attend 1 session)

Step 3 – Complete an Application

A. If you qualify you will be issued an application.
B. You’re not alone! Application must be completed with the help of your current case manager/counsellor.
C. Don’t have one? JVS has that covered. We’ll connect you with one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
D. Application results take 5-10 business days to processes.
